What this covers

These terms apply to the Voicverg desktop application and this website. Using either means you accept them. If you do not, stop using them.

Your account

One account per person. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including tokens spent on it. Tell us if you think somebody else has got in.

Tokens

Tokens are the prepaid balance on your account. You buy them in the packs or amounts shown at the time of purchase. Tokens are spent while voice conversion is running, and once when a training run starts (refunded if the run fails). They do not expire and have no cash value outside Voicverg.

How many tokens a minute of conversion uses depends on the processing involved and can change. The rate in force is published on the pricing page; the rate you were charged at is recorded against every session in your account. A change to the rate never alters the number of tokens you hold or the price of an order you have already placed.

Purchases are final once tokens have been added, because they are available to spend immediately. Payments are made in cryptocurrency and cannot be reversed by us or by the network; if something went wrong with a payment, write in and it will be sorted out with tokens or, where a payment never credited, by other means.

How you may use it

You may use Voicverg for calls, streaming, recording, content, games and anything else where you are being yourself with a different voice.

You may not use it to:

• pretend to be a specific real person in order to deceive somebody
• commit fraud, including any attempt to defeat voice authentication
• harass, threaten, or abuse anyone
• clone a voice you do not own without that person's permission
• break the law where you are

Accounts found doing any of the above are suspended, and remaining tokens are forfeit.

Voice models you train

Training happens on your computer and your recordings stay there. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever audio you train on. Recording someone in order to clone their voice, without asking them, is not something this product is for.

Availability

The service is provided as it is. It can go down, and features can change. Conversion runs on your machine, so a short outage here does not delete anything of yours, though you will not be able to start a new session while it is down.

Ending it

You can stop using Voicverg at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms. Unused tokens on an account closed for a breach are not refunded.
