Your audio never reaches us
Voice conversion runs on your own computer. Microphone audio, the converted output, and any recording you train on all stay on your machine. None of it is uploaded, and there is nowhere here for it to go.
What we do hold
- Your email address, and your name if you gave one
- A hash of your password, never the password
- Your credit balance and the history of how it changed
- Payments: amount, network, and the transaction reference
- Session records: when conversion started and stopped, and for how long
- An identifier for each computer you sign in on, so devices can be signed out
- IP addresses, with the country worked out from them
Why we hold it
To run your account, meter credit accurately, recognise payments, and see roughly where people are using the product. IP addresses also feed rate limiting, which is what keeps somebody from guessing passwords in bulk.
Cookies
One cookie, for staying signed in on this website. No advertising or analytics cookies. The desktop app uses tokens rather than cookies.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys this data. It goes to our hosting provider, because that is where the database sits, and country lookups go to an IP geolocation service. Payments are on a public blockchain, so the transfer itself is visible to anyone, which is true of every crypto payment.
How long
Account records are kept while the account exists. Payment records are kept for seven years because tax rules require it. Session and IP records are trimmed after twelve months.
Your choices
Ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for the account to be deleted. Deletion removes the account, its sessions and its devices; payment records are kept as anonymised totals for tax purposes.
